To ensure a smooth appointment, please note:

  • A valid, government-issued ID is required.

  • All signers must be present.

  • Sign required documents only in the presence of the notary.

  • 1718 does not provide legal advice regarding the content of documents.

The Experience

SERVICES OFFERED


A Notary Signing Agent (NSA) is a notary public who specializes in handling loan document packages for real estate transactions, such as mortgage closings, refinances, and home equity loans ($ 5 per notary act (if applicable) + $20.00 travel fee).

All standard notarizations (paper) are $5 per notary act (per signature) + travel fee

Electronic-notarization (E-notary) is $10 per notary act + travel fee ($20)

*Notarizations are conducted only in Sumter, South Carolina.

-  Secure notarization for electronic documents using an approved electronic signature and notarial seal.
S.C. Code of Laws §26-1-100(A), notaries public may charge up to $5.00 per notarial act. Notaries public may charge up to $10.00 per signature for electronic signing (SC Code § 26-2-70, 2025). Travel fees [§26-1- 100(C)]: In addition to fees for notarial acts, a notary public may charge for travel if the fee is agreed upon in advance between the notary and the party requesting the notarial act.
